The 7th CHIMERA 2022, held on December 4, 2022 at South Point School, Barsapara, Guwahati (Assam) was organised in support of the Department of Cultural Affairs; Panchayat & Rural Development; Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission, Assam State Transport Corporation and Assam State Film (Finance and Development) Corporation), Govt. of Assam and in collaboration with the esteemed South Point School, Barsapara (Guwahati) along with Amrapali Magazine, Cloud Momo and NEOS | North East Online Shop.
The event was graced by Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon'ble Union Minister for Ports, Shipping, Waterways and AYUSH, Govt. of India as the Chief Guest along with Shri Biswajit Daimary, Hon'ble Speaker, Assam Legislative Assemble, Govt. of Assam and Shri Bimal Borah, Hon'ble Minister for Culture, Govt. of Assam as the Guest of Honour.
This year the CHIMERA was celebrated in different districts like Silchar, Jorhat, Golaghat and Kamrup Metro encompassing various participants of different age groups and our prolific Mission Partners namely Monikanchan Kala Niketan (Golaghat), Priyamz Divine Dancers (Jorhat), Gurucharan College and Beenachchhandam Sangeet Vidyalaya (Silchar). The 6th CHIMERA 2022, held on February 2, 2022 at Rabindra Bhawan, Guwahati (Assam) was organised in collaboration with Department of Cultural Affairs, Govt. of Assam, NCC North East Region Directorate, Shillong (Meghalaya) and in association with Panchayat & Rural Development, Govt. of Assam, Assam State Rural Livelihood Mission, Govt. of Assam, Assam Tourism Development Corporation, Govt. of Assam, FASS (USA), Global Assamsese Entrepreneurship Forum (USA), South Point School, Barsapara (Guwahati) and Asomiya Pratidin newspaper. The event was graced by Dr. Tanveer Monsur Roni, Assistant High Commissioner of Assisstant High Commission of Bangladesh in Guwahati (Assam), Shri Shankar Das - Eminent Author, Shri Devasish Sharma, ACS, Commissioner, Guwahati Municipal Corporation, Shri Bimal Kumar Hazarika, ACS - Eminent Cultural Administrator (Govt. of Assam), Moinul Haque - Eminent Mime Artiste, Smt.
