AMRAPALI INSTITUTE OF ARTS HONE MY RHYTHMIC EXPRESSION

Writer's picture: Sagrika BansalSagrika Bansal

So for the longest time that one thing which held its grip tight on me was dance. A place where I've felt most right and worthy. Sometimes it's not about expressing an emotion, or releasing energy, but only taking delight in the movement itself. That's also what freedom feels like and it's this string of powerful impulses that the Amrapali Institute of Arts helps me channel skillfully that turns into a beautiful art composition.

Adding grace to one's life through dance would be an understatement. It is a concept that gives life value in more than one way, I now understand the art better, look at artistes differently, and resonate with the culture more deeply than ever before. And the joy of that little achievement I feel when I am able to spot the transition between Jhap Taal and Teen Taal when Raag Bhairavi plays on my YouTube is immense. There's so much to learn and experience, and given the right manifesto, the prowess has no limits.
